City Life Events: Bethel Concert 2016

I’ve never been to a live concert before, yes I am almost 20 and have never ever seen someone famous get onto a stage and sing. So that meant I have no idea what to expect when seeing Bethel live, I have no idea what I must wear, what I must bring or even how the night was going to turn out.

I spent the whole week thinking of what I should wear, it’s a Christian band so not something one would wear to Coachella and for a spring night it was a little cold so not something that I wouldn’t be able to lift my arms up in without freezing my bum off. But my outfit turned out on point (if I must say so myself) but didn’t work for the place we were at, because Little Danielle was unaware that the Voortakker Monument was just a series of up heels and down hills so she went home with a big fat blister on her foot.

But at the end of the night, the blisters didn’t matter because it was such an amazing concert. I’m proud to say that the first concert I went to was when Bethel came to SA.
