Beauty Trends: Winged Eyeliner

There is no better feeling than when you try doing your own winged eyeliner and you get it right the first time. Winged eyeliner is the latest makeup trend and it is very sexy. I was scared to try it at first because I was scared I would look like I’m trying too hard to look like a pin up girl. There are, however, many ways you can wear this trend without looking like you belong on some guy’s shoulder as his tattoo.

I have noticed this trend in ‘The Voice’ and even on the blogger’s posts that I follow. They take this look and make it look quite casual, they do this by pairing this winged eyeliner with a simple topknot and an oversized sweater or even with a pair of high waisted jeans, a plain white tee and a choker. A few tips when it comes to dressing a winged liner is try not make it looked too themed, meaning: don’t pair it with a headband, high waisted shorts, a shirt made crop with a knot and heels because, trust me, you will stand out (not in a good way).

When it comes to sexy eyeliner, I personally prefer to use a makeup brush and liner that’s in a pot than using the liner pen. The MAC ‘Blacktrack’ is the best for this trend, and if you want to be more daring then create this look with a blue liner or even a brown one. I’m so in love with this trend, I think I will be rocking it all November long.
